Posted on their Facebook page, coming from Executive Shaving, it seems we will have another SE addition, taking shavette type Artist Club blades in the style of Cobra and Mongoose. It will be all stainless steel, and they already have a waiting list.

The gates are being torn down with new AC SE razors!

The blue head piece is a plastic prototype. It will be SS in the final production.

It really does. I understand the design reasons for doing so, but I personally find no interest in designing something so similar. Oh well. More options for the community is always a good thing! It could shave very differently.

I love competition. It does look like a Mongoose but you can only design this type of razor so many ways as it should accept Feather/Kai/Kamisori blades.

Absolutely! I wonder how they plan to differentiate. Eg. aesthetics, performance, price, etc.

Since it's going to be stainless steel and ES has spent according to them 1000s of Euros I don't expect it to be a cheap knock off. The only one I can think of that sells and builds his own razors is Greg @ iKon. His Shavecraft line will keep the cost under $100 . I am thinking this razor will sell for not less then $150 if we are lucky and add shipping you are probably looking at $200 although the Euro vs USD is very favorable to us.

I'm sure it will be great and all, and I know it's very hard to alter the design of a SE razor, that uses the feather/kai SE blades, but these razors begin to look a little boring to my eyes  Dodgy

I'm not that excited, you may be able to tell  Biggrin

You can really only do so much, but man, I wish they did something, even something small, to alter the aesthetics of this razor. I am also not a fan of the handle, hope that is altered before production
