I am seeking info on a Gillette made in Brazil. There are no date markings and it is very similar to a 40's SS. There are no date codes and I've never came across a Gillette made in Brazil. Any info or links would be greatly appreciated. Here's a few pics for your viewing satisfaction (or jokes ;-) I'm no photographer)[Image: 6b5228472aff11cdb7cf779724644617.jpg][Image: a869a395870f822dac51b02441fa94cc.jpg][Image: 1621847041ea6ab35b7527ddc3079485.jpg]

P.S. I recieved this razor as part of a package deal with a co-worker that knows about my "hobby" (or obsession as my wife calls it, but hey, I'm passionate right? Hehe)

Are there any differences due to manufacturing in Brazil?

More rare from Brazil and Argentina. Never shaved with one to give you proper comparison. Similar diamond head to most Rockets. Handle knurling differered.[Image: 1954%20(Z1)%20Mono%20Tech%20Brazil.JPG]

Monotech also came in a white/clear clamshell with diamond perforations if memory serves, similar case to black handled flare tip.

Fun. I'm missing the endcaps also I noticed... I recieved this as a package deal. 2 slims(L1,I3) a red tip (D4++) a flair tip(C1) all for $50.00

I've been collecting for 3 years now (all wild) and acquiring thru the forums and have watched many-aristrocrats. Man, I'm stoked. They are some of my most wanted (wild) and never found. This one will get replated. If I send it off, will anyone be able to bring it back to new, including end-caps?

Great find. Be nice to see the finished razor. I like the flat bottom Aristocrat Jr. made in England.
Found one in the wild also for $10 plus an hours drive antiquing with wife.

Replating won't bring it back with end cap. You will need provide a donor razor that they can transfer the end cap from and with this being a rarer model not sure which other model end caps will fit.

After looking, I'm sure you are correct. The horizontal lines on the handle are it.

That case you show looks like a slim adjustable case. On your razor, about 5 o'clock from 36057, is there a 3?
