I received it today, the craftsmanship is amazing. The presentation is also excellent. The nail clippers are made from japanese stainless steel and the case from genuine leather.

I use those same clippers, but without the nice case.  They are excellent.

Got them too.

Like them a lot.

Wish there was a file incorporated into the handle on the smaller one somewhere.

I need to find a nice one that fits into the case as an emory board doesn't fit and looks shabby by comparison to the rest of the kit.

I too have those clippers and it was my start in traditional shaving that made me search out the sharper clippers.

Those look great. I discovered the Seki quality a few years back and have clippers by them and some shears. They are nice. Here is what I have:

Oh, please do not make that comparison.  Ginzu knives are cheap junk.   Seki Edge, which distributes the Green Bell clippers that are made in Osaka, also distributes the Feather AS-D2 razors, and, like the Feather products, the Green Bell clippers are precision instruments.

My KAI toenail clippers, which were made in Seki city, the Japanese analogue to Solingen, Germany, are of the same design as the Green Bell clippers, and they are excellent; but at my age, the profile of my toenails is getting more arched or rounded, and the recommended “straight across” snips are leaving the top of the nail in the shape of a shallow U, with the sides longer than the middle of the nail.   Last week, in the Yokohama Tokyu Hands, I held some Suwada toenail nippers . . .

. . . in my hand for the first time.  There is not a shred of doubt in my mind that a pair of the Niigata-made Suwada nippers will tale their place alongside my Seki-made straight across clippers very soon, not to replace the clippers, but to supplement them at the sides of the nails.

Congratulations. After purchasing those clippers, I started buying them as gifts for family and friends, and everyone loves them. They are amazing in comparison the the typical clippers found in pharmacies or department stores.
