Hello gentleman. I am looking to get a new leather wallet preferably in a medium size to hold 6+ cards. I have used Saddleback leather wallets for some time now as well as Bison Made. The Saddleback ones still crack my credit cards even with their new design. Was wanting some good recommendations but would like to stay away from Gucci,Prada, Louis Vuitton etc unless you think they are worth the coin.  Doesn't matter where they are made just as long as it's quality.

I highly recommend Salvatore Ferragamo wallets. Excellent leather quality, for me much superior to Gucci, Burberry, Louis Vuitton (they are not real leather btw!)...
I like their elegance and simplicity. Also very classy.
This is the one I have in black. THey have a new color in brown, very classy, probably would've gotten that one at the time if it was available.

For me they are totally worth the price, I had never had a wallet last me more than 3-4 month... The stitching would start to come off and the whole thing would fall apart. Granted they were lower quality and much cheaper, the one I have now, I've had for 3 years now and it looks brand new still..

I just recently purchased a wallet from Popov Leather along with a Field Notes Wallet. I am very happy. Excellent quality leather and you can pick the stitching color. Good customer service too.

Mens Bifold Wallet in either Horween Chromexcel or the outrageous Horween Shell Cordovan. Seems ridiculous to spend more on a wallet than all the money you might ever keep in it -- but these are the best I've seen and worth the coin.

Kangaroo leather is extremely thin and durable. David Morgan in Settle offers several and there is an aussie online company I will have to look up later.

There's a wetshaver named Richard Salazar who has been making leather goods for some time. He used to make dopp bags, but has transitioned to some beautiful wallets and other accessories. All made by him. Never owned one, but they look quite nice.

I bought a SecrID wallet a few weeks ago.  Good protection for your cards (RFID chip deterrent) and tidy size.
Holds up to 6 chip cards and slots for a few more.

While I don't have a specific recommendation, I would point out that you usually get what you pay for; my last wallet lasted me close to 25 years, and I only replaced it because it couldn't hold all of my various cards.

Check out the ROGUE Wallet...fits in the SIDE pocket...prevents being crushed by sitting on it and they have many different materials and my current favorite is shark skin with the credit card protection fiber...

If leather is required, 2nd the Popov wallets.  Excellent value and nice variety.

If you want some color or like aluminum, Dosh wallets made in Australia.  Dosh also has some RFID models.  I have been using a 6 pocket/money clip for years and like that model.

I could never figure out the person that needs to take out his wallet whenever he sits down - always gives me the urge to ask if they are buying lunch or drinks.   I just ordered a Popov 5 pocket wallet - wanted to try something smaller and different.

Many men actually don't like to sit on their wallets.. Some I know actually get back pain if they keep a wallet in their back pocket and sit for long period of times.
It's very typical for many people to take their wallet out when hey sit down

I switched to jacket carry long ago; I ruined lots of Levis before switching. Given enough time and payload the leather will still conform to the card contents, one of the reasons I prefer leather. Love the look of that. Both my J. Michael and Popov mold beautifully.

Here is another good manufacturer. I have used their front pocket wallet for a number of years. It is both comfortable and durable.
