Looks like a Gillette OC  (open comb) 4 piece travel razor/case...should clean up nicely and can be used with most handles  if you find the 2 piece travel handle too short.

German pocket model.

They made many. Open combs are the ones I see the most. Sometimes slants.

Give it a shave!

Great score. Enjoy!

Looks to be in good condition Sparticus, you got a good deal. Have you given it a shave yet?

I don't think that's a Gillette razor.  Looks like a travel version of an Old Type clone razor to me.  Shane may have the correct answer a couple of posts above this one.

A beautiful little travel razor, quite reminiscent of my Merkur 985CL - should be a smooth shaver Smile Any visible markings at all?

A quick search reveals several four piece OC Gillettes in similar cases to yours, including several fleaBay auctions claiming they are from the 40's. Same search also reveals several very similar razors made by other companies.

I have one just like it, a Lunawerk, great travel razor for your Dopp Kit.
