Always thought I would remain a DE shaver but I always loved the look of the vintage Gems won these on the bay for a$1.99 . Can't wait for them to come and give them a run and see what SE is all about.[Image: c9fcfbe1ac1d8550f6d0902c7be0a698.jpg]

The one on top is a MMOC... Very nice razor. Appears in very good condition. You won't be disappointed. It's more on the aggressive side of GEMs, so take some care when you start with it

That's what I've been reading I'll see how they clean up and will most likely start out on the Jr.

Good luck! SEs are fun to use. The MMOC requires a different angle compared to DE. Make sure you open up your elbow... Handle parallel to the floor

Nice catch.
I believe you will fall in love with SE as many of us did.

Had my first SE shave today used the GEM jr with a GEM SS blade and Arko soap. I have to say it went really well a close smooth shave two passes wtg & xtg no weepers no irritation.

Excellent! You'll find the OCMM to be a bit more aggressive, but with proper technique it's no big deal. I like to use a GEM SS coated blade for 3-4 shaves before using the blade in a razor more aggressive than the Jr'. They can be a bit harsh and give weepers before they get some use on them.
