Crazy long shot but I figured I'd try! If you have a stand too that'd be awesome, but not a deal-breaker if you don't.

Specifications: Wolfman WR1-OC and WRH-7 handle in brushed stainless, 2016 production. Includes Wolfman Razors stand, in same.

Please do not PM me sale or other trade offers. I am looking to trade for a BBS-1 and that is it!

Sweet razor!  I'm curious what the BBS-1 will provide over the Wolfman?

Good luck in your search!

Cheers,
Eric

In terms of efficiency or aggression or whatever you want to call it, the BBS1 is a true median between the Wolfman OC and SB. The OC is perfect for me, but I can see it being too much for some. The SB is on the milder side as well so it may not be enough for others. BBS1 is perfect middle of the road.

Variety, a closed comb, and I believe a moderately more aggressive shave than a Wolfman SB.

I didn't particularly find it more aggressive than the Wolfman SB, but it's certainly smoother, much smoother...At least in my experience

Some good descriptions above. I think the BBS-1 is the finest razor I have ever used (de) period. Perfect for my face and at every angle - every soap and will be the one razor that I always keep two copies. I am a straight razor user more than de so, this is very strong praise indeed! Glwtt

I've been dying to get my hands on one of these.  It would be the best razor I don't have. But not ready to give up my bbs1.

User parachutefactory might be up for a trade. He was cycling through a bunch of different razors a while back & last I heard he had a BBS.

Rather than swap your Wolfman out for an unknown quantity, have you considered asking James to adjust the gap a bit?

Great input guys, thanks!  I'm on a wait list for a BBS-1 but it's a year out.

Good morning everyone.  I'm on a wait list for a BBS-1 but it's a year out. Does any one know when James will open his  wait list.

From the Wolfman website:

Taking orders again in 2016.   Orders will resume at some point this year.   New designs will be developed as well.   The schedule is not clear at this time.

I've heard nothing other than that.  As of last week I believe there are still guys waiting who placed an order last June.  Given the pent-up demand, once orders are taken again...well, having this much demand for a product is a great problem for a business owner to have, but that poor guy is probably really sick of looking at razors right now.

I was able to buy a BBS-1 and was a little bit disappointed after the first shave but after the owner told me to use a little bit of pressure and a steeper angle I got wonderful shaves. I still prefer my wolfmans but the difference is small. (the 0,74 gap being my absolute favorite)
