1980-90's Cartridge Razors Razor Identification Needed - If I recall the razor came from Bells or the alike; the razor handle is gold color metal, but the double blade cartridges slides from the side down a track.  No name brand & no cartridge refill available.  Something in the back of my says it was made in Taiwan?

A picture if you have one would likely aid in identifying it. Don't hold your breath though; as far as I remember there was a lot of no-brand cartridge razors around in the early 90's.

Is this pic worth a thousand words?
NOTE: I offset the cartage a little so 1 pic will tell all.

It might have been, if it had showed?

If you have problems posting images, you might want to use the imgur-button; the white 'i' in a black square.

Ah, now it shows up.. had to clear my cache.

It's one I've cant recall seeing before. Goggling don't reveal anything useful either. A patent search on the obvious keywords come of blank... hopefully someone else recognises it.

There were many Trac II/Super II handles made in Taiwan for the after market. Whether Avon, Aramis, Gucci Fragrance, Ralph Lauren, Old Spice. These formed shaving sets, or just fragrance coffret gift items. Franklin Toiletry Co and others sold upmarket gold plated gifts which could be engraved with initials etc.

They are from the 70's to early 90's...

Thanks for the info!
Funny I never used the Gillette Trac ll; I always used Gillette Sensor, but every now & then the blade would come loose while shaving!

Knowing what I know now the Gillette Trac ll would have been the wiser choice!
