I have only 3 of the Razorock soaps Mudder Focker (MF for future reference), Chicago, P 160.  I have not tried the P 160 yet but wondered how much different the P 160 is performance wise because of the different ingredients.  I absolutely love the MF after my shave with it I literally said Holly Sh*t, tat was the closest shave I have gotten so far and the way my face felt afterwards was nothing short of amazing softer and smoother than BBS lol.  I do love Chicago as well I got a great shave out of it and really enjoyed the scent a little more than MF.

So I was just wondering with everyone's vast shaving experience and knowledge what your opinion is, and if anyone has tried the p 160 tell me what you think.

Thanks,
Rick

The XXX gets my vote. I haven't tried many Razorock soaps, but I like this one. It's very easy to lather and the scent is fresh and lemony.

I am not a fan of sweet almond scents so I sold all of my traditionally scented Italian soaps, including P160.  Every RazoRock soap I have tried has given me good to excellent results.  My personal favorite is the Santa Maria del Fiore, it smells great, has just the right amount of menthol, and lather and skin care properties are top notch.

My favorite is XX. The argan oil makes a big difference for me! Also, the scent is really subtle but nice.

Santa Maria is the only one I've used and it's one of my all-time favorites from any brand.

Santa Maria Del Fiore is one of those soaps people will be haunting EBAY for in 30 years should Razor-Rock cease production.

He laughs, not knowing the quiet desperation and private grief over so many lost products.

The desperation is loud and the grief public, trust me. Every now and then a vaunted vintage Floris/C&E/Trumper soap makes an appearance in the Monthly Haul thread. The new C&E soaps are much-hyped because of the promise that they may approach the quality of old stock. Badger & Blade has a 21-page stickied thread just for vintage soap.

The problem is twofold - the first is that no one in the consumer camp knows what products will be discontinued at what point. The second is that sometimes, products that were considered mediocre in their time are held up as examples of the greatness of vintage stock once discontinued. Klar's Kabinett, I am told, is one such product. No one was talking about it until it disappeared, and now people can't shut up!

It's the rose scent. Everyone wants that elusive Mr Lincoln first bloom on a fog drip morning rose scent.  But back to R-R-- I have one jar and need more- well; I WANT more.

I have the One X, the Don Marco, and the Italian Barber Acquatico. (Isn't Italian Barber part of Razorock?) I think the One X is my favourite but the other two are also really nice.

Mine was Christmas in Tuscany, primarily for the scent - the smell was awesome, unfortunately the soap spoilt in my effort to make it last. In hindsight I just should have used it and enjoyed it while it lasted. I have some ABCBA left (purchased around the same time as the CiT) which is very easy to lather...
