I just received my new Simpsons 46 Berkley brush. I was surprised at how small it was. I was expecting a much larger brush. The handle does feel good in the hand though and the tips are very soft. It also has a good backbone. I can't wait to use it. I'll do another post here when I do.

First badger I owned (obtained via the Nook). The only other one I have is a Wee Scot.
Still my "high end" brush!

We need some pics!

The 46 is one of the few Simpson brushes I haven't owned...

Love mine!  Good for every day use and great for travel.  Wish it had been the first brush I bought; I would have fewer brushes now.

@EagleWing -

The 46 is a fine brush. Don't be put off by the size. Use it and enjoy it.
If the day arrives that you feel the need for something larger, a Duke 3 may be worth a look.

I had one too for a while but the knot was just too small for me.

Nice pics, I still love the Berkley and use it regularly as a travel brush.

Simpson DNA wins out every time.
