I thought you might get a kick out of this handle I made. I bought an 1800 and took out the knot and rehandled it in acrylic. It has a nice heft to it. I'll start with a couple of hand lathers and just start using it. I won't mess around with breaking it in. This is my first Semogue, I'm impressed with the quality of the bristle.

how did you do the handle? is it a wood handle encased in acrylic?

Or is this a solid piece of acrylic?

It's a solid block of acrylic, then turned on a lathe. I'll probably turn a few more in the future with some different types of acrylics.
