Is it crazy to want a soap and aftershave to smell like A1 steak sauce and charbroiled NY strip?

Have you wanted a sent just as out there?

How does that insult go? 'Your parents had to tie a steak to your face so the dog would play with you'? No, it's no crazy, but doable? Would you over salivate and collapse from dehydration? How would it impact actually having steak? Does A1 hold any proprietory rights over the formula?

Mama Bear's Soaps does a maple cured bacon scented shave soap...

Why not steak sauce? My only concern is you might be tempted to eat your lather!

You make some good points. Is the world ready for such a thing? I suppose if a soap maker is able closely duplicate what A1 smells like, I wouldn't think KRAFT could necessarily go after them. That is as long they don't market or list it using the A1 trademark but as just as generic "steak sauce".

You Sir, have found the next shave soap I will be trying! Is there a matching aftershave?

Mama Bear's Soaps do produce a few aftershaves, sadly not bacon scented. Perhaps you could request it?

Not a bad idea. I would be surprised if I was the first to ask though!

I notice that Mama Bear does have quite the variety of soaps.

You could add a touch of A1 to a neutral smelling shave soap.  Dose up as you'd like.  Definitely report back to us on this.  LoL.
