My R1 Jet Mach3 head assembly popped out of its expensive BW handle this morning while changing cartridges. I don't see anything broken; the assembly looks to have been glued in and gave way -- and there's no apparent way of reseating it, either. Since the razor has been lightly used since purchase, it's obviously a manufacturing defect. I haven't checked warranty info yet, but a couple months might be toeing a line here; we'll see. I have emails in to both BW and the American vendor I purchased the razor from, so it should be interesting to see if either is willing to stand behind this product. This razor has been a good shaver, but as I originally feared it's turned out to be all looks and no stamina. More to come . . .

The bolinwebb.com site is working.  I wonder if they are related to The Tholian Web?

It's early; not heard back yet.

The two tabs on the side of the head assembly are supposed to fit flush with the top of the handle slot, but they now only seat part way so there's no point in trying to glue it. The whole assembly just popped out when I pushed the button to eject the cartridge. I didn't realize this was a two-piece razor. Angry My BW razor stand is also now an expensive paper weight.

Yikes...I have one of those as well...don,t use it much...maybe that is why it is still in one piece...have to check it out....checked out their site...they have a 2 year warranty and you can register your purchase....might take a while but I,m sure they would fix or replace it...(or so they say)

Thanks for the warranty info. I have another fancy handle Mach3 from Shavemac that works like a charm so am fine so far waiting to hear from BW and/or vendor.

Thanks. I woke up to a response from Bolin Webb, apologizing for the inconvenience and an offer to send me a replacement handle. Good show.

I figured that would be the outcome.  I have dealt with them in the past and they seemed very sincere about their products.

Thanks. The vendor followed suit soon after and I informed them about BW's response. They're happy, I'm (almost) happy.

I thought it was all hype but bought into it anyway. Turns out the razor handle works well and I get a relaxing shave using it, more so than with the standard Mach3 combo. The stand was an afterthought but really is cool. Zen? Close enough. Biggrin

I own the black/grey Fusion Bolin Webb and have it in my shower for shower shaves.

Mine seems to be pretty sturdy......but you never know...

I have 2 Bolin Webb and really happy to hear they are there for customer support too.  Usually, in high end stuff, the compagnies make their best to keep customers.

I would certainly not want to drop the "rock" holder on my toes in the shower and believe me I would.  I think this razor has more models than any other razor ever.  british flag, amer flat, etc etc.
