First of all a huge thank you to Yohann!!

I have always wanted to try one of the Japanese style disposable straight razors to see if I did any better with them than the folding type. I borrowed a CJB from Yohann and had my first real test with it this morning. It glides much more easily than the folding type and it seems to be far easier (at least to me) to use than the folding type. When I tried the folding type before, I almost always made my face look like a road map, but after 3 passes with this one, I had one small nick above my lip. I did pretty good with it as far as hair loss as it seems far easier to maneuver than the Folding type. My next goal is to find one of my own.

Nah Arley I wish that were them. These look really close to a Feather Artist Club.

Okay, I know the ones I think. Are they Korean made and use the Feather Pro's?

Have you seen a Sayuri? The entire razor is disposable. I'm awaiting one that I scored on eBay for $.99 free shipping. They look fairly flimsy. It should be interesting to say the least. It's non folding, btw.

They are a nice product. I was able to buy one last year, but when I went back for another to use as a gift they were all gone. Have not been able to find another source.

Oh, it's eBay Korea.

It comes to about $30 for one, $50 for two, $68 for three. From what I've read, Gmarket overcharges on shipping, then refunds Gbucks if you've paid too much up front.

I haven't used it, but did some research on the site. It's a joint venture with eBay, and you pay through paypal, so there are protections involved. The packages are also tracked from Korea. It all seems very up and up to me. Someone did a pretty good blog entry on her experiences with Gmarket (canuckshopper or something like that), and it all seems very straightforward.

Google can't translate too much of the site which makes one heck of a challenge to navigate/understand.

The account set up, shopping cart and pricing before checkout is all pretty easy to understand. For product description, it's pretty useless. Your better off reading descriptions of the CJB elsewhere.

If anyone is going to order this & wants to combine shipping with me then just send me a PM. I'm interested in trying this razor too. Maybe we can get the cost lower for each of us. Just shoot me a PM & we can work it out from there.

Just ordered from Gmarket. On the final payment page, it clearly has Ebay or Korea on the bottom of the page. The order process is a little repetitive, and you have to enable pop-ups to get to your payment window, but it's a very simple process. I could NOT get the payment screen to work in Explorer, but it worked like a charm in Chrome. When I hit the final total screen, it started to download a payment processing app-I stopped download and deleted that-it did not impede my ability to pay. I would not have proceeded if the site required me to install a payment app. Should be here in about 10 days.
