A nephew who has a coarse beard he can shave at least 3x a day and still look like he has a 5 o'clock shadow, loves his Muhle R41 and says it is the best aggressive razor out there. I mentioned ATT, LA Shaving BBS and Wolfman.
With money as no object, any more nominations for most aggressive DE razor?
Please pardon me if I failed to mention any other DE vendors in this post - I have limited DE razor experience. Just looking for an aggressive razor for a tough, fast-growing beard.

R41 2011 version is more aggressive than later versions.

Surprisingly, AlumGoose V1 is very aggressive to me as well (close to R41 2011). I have heard they corrected this with their v2 version

The most aggressive inexpensive razor I have ever used was the Fatip.  I couldn't handle it and I don't have sensitive skin.

My vote would be for the Ikon Shavecraft Tech.  I've shaved with all of the R41's and the Tech, at least to me, is far more aggressive.

I can't speak for the Muhle's or Fatip but my V3A from Maggards is pretty aggressive.

I learned that aggressiveness for me is more about face feel I prefer. r41 cuts very close.. - you cannot cut more under skin - it is more about the feeling you like "scratching" your face with the blade..

I agree. For me, it's more aggressive than the R41 2011, R41 2013, FaTip, Wolfman open comb with an increased blade gap of .74mm, ATT H2, Slim at 9, or anything else in my den. It also gives me my best shaves.

If I am not mistaken, and most of the time I am mistaken, he has not returned my Ikon however he prefers the R41.

I nominate the Gillette Super Adjustable 84. I have owned two and couldn't handle either one. Each was the most aggressive razor in my experience, which is limited really, only to vintage Gillettes and GEMs. Can't help with the new stuff. Both of my modern razors are relatively mild.

sounds to me the nephew's problem is one of fast growing more so than coarseness, which it also is I hear, but I don't think it matters what you shave with when your beard grows that fast.   ....................I'm sure I'm missing something..............
