I have been fooling around with the MUHLE TWIST razor and it can be slightly used as a adjustable....mind you just a turn or too but it does increase/decrease the gap....anyway just wondering  if anyone ever tried this?

Not that bad ...only spent 5 minutes in deep thought and 30 seconds during my last shave.....oh well time for my medication and electro shock therapy....couple more hits on my med/pot and hypnotherapy.....who know this saving money on shaving could lead to this much trouble....Coming Doctor...just got to adjust my Twist razor a few more times... Pretty sure some of the old Gillette instructional leaflets advised a similar approach to increasing the aggressiveness of the shave by loosening the handle slightly.  So I think you're in traveled territory.

And I doubt sincerely that you have saved any money on shaving.....lol....
