This morning the plastic cap to my Proraso green tube has broken off at the thread. Any suggestions for a fix?

I'm sure I can figure something out, but I thought this would be a good opportunity to see what you guys have come up with or would suggest.

Buy a large pastry syringe and transfer contents asap.

I'd not buy anything, just move it to the closest size screw jar you have lying around.  Heck, even a baggie would work, just trying to keep it out of the air right?   A more expensive solution would be the pastry tube, or a backpacker's squeeze tube  https://www.rei.com/product/696007/coghl...ckage-of-2

That's the trick.  I actually squeeze my tubes into a Tupperware food contsiner from the get go.  Easy to just dip the tips of my brush in it and no worries about the seal.

Easiest thing would be to take a tiny piece of seran wrap, put it over the opening and rubber band wrapped right around to keep it airtight.

Same thing happened to me once with a tube of P-Red. I simply placed the broken cap over the opening and stood the tube on the cap when not in use. It motivated me to work through it quickly.

Use cap from toothpaste tube.

Worked for me once on Palmolive tube.

Even worked better since the toothpaste cap had a flip top.

Not sure will fit your cream though. I may have just gotten lucky.

All great suggestions. Thanks everyone!

I ended up stealing a cap off my travel tube of toothpaste. The threads aren't technically compatible, but I'm able to get a tight enough seal.
