My name is Andrew, and I'm a Simpsons-holic.

In other news, I have heard numerous fantastic things about TSN and have been lurking about for a few weeks. I have been involved in the internet shave community for several years, but never quite made it over here, glad to say I finally have!

I have been a wet shaver for about 10 years now; it all started with me wanting to make my own shaving brush and scouring the internet trying to figure out how to do so. I got hooked on all the old school shaving stuff out there, collected several straights (which I have never quite utilized as much as I'd like), and quickly moved to DE shaving, where I've been comfortably residing for some years now. Generally, I switch between a Slim and Fatboy with several different blade choices.

Next thing I knew, I had a lathe and a full woodshop... However, making brushes never got further than the hobby phase for me, I made a few for my groomsmen in my wedding, and made a few for myself (that I still faithfully use), and have sold a few here and there over the years, but I got into other woodworking areas to help justify the money spent to my wife  Cool

Making soap was the next passion that rolled in, and that one kept-a-rollin'. It has come and gone as a hobby for me over the years, and again, never quite made it out of the hobby phase, but this year brought renewed interest for several reasons, and I just want to state from the outset that I do plan to join the Artisan community here once I'm eligible and share some of my passion for shaving products (on the soap & cosmetic side) with y'all!

But most importantly, I love to talk wet shaving and old school stuff, and I look forward to engaging in many of those conversations with all the fine folks here.

- Andrew
