Today is the Japanese observance of the Buddha's birthday. It is traditional to bring flowers to temple. I cut some roses outside in the rain and placed them at my small statue.
Then I drank a cup of sake and tried shaving with a Feather again. Sbathroom_grooming_shaving_100-100

I find shaving with a feather very soft and tickly on the face, and completely useless at hair-removal. Smile

One swipe and I felt the pain of shaving sepuku. Razor was lain down, cold water towel and a prayer to Kanon; female Buddha of infinite mercy and compassion.
