I was very lucky to snag this beautiful brush on the BST a few months ago from a member who had two of them and decided he didn't need his backup (this brush).
It came to me in excellent condition and I've only used it a handful of times. For me it has never shed a hair and remains in excellent condition with super soft tips, great backbone and a perfectly bulb shaped knot. A legendary brush for sure and will come with the original box.

I don't have a pair of calipers to measure exactly but in comparison to other brushes I own, I'd say the knot is at least 30mm in diameter with a loft somewhere in the region of 52-54mm.

For trade options, I'm interested in other rare brushes of similar size but please message me if you have something interesting in mind.

- Older M&F/ROONEY 2-3XL or a Finest brush
- M&F original group buy Chief
- M&F Urn in Zebra stripe
- Other Simpson 2-band brushes, maybe a PL8-10
etc..

I can post more pictures if necessary.
Also, I am located in Australia so please consider that. I have no problems with international shipping/trading.

Please do not contact me with offers to buy the brush, it is not currently for sale.

Do the 'group buy' Chiefs have any distinguishing characteristics from 'normal' Chiefs?
I have one that I was told was a "group buy" Chief but there's no special engraving or other identifying marks from my other chiefs.  I'll send you a PM.

Thanks Boonie, I have been in contact with Shanman.

Also I'm off to sleep now so if I don't reply, don't worry I'll get around to it soon.

Cheers

If memory serves me correctly the group buy chief had a less dense than normal knot, as they were made to fit a certain price point. There are no other identifying features.
