Found a W&B that had a busted toe. Reshaped it, lightly cleaned it and put it in this big and chunky Himalayan Rams Horn with Black Bear Femur wedge. I had originally made the scales for another razor but they didn't look well together.

Thanks guys. I know my style of big and chunky scales aren't for everyone. But I really enjoy them. The way I figure it, after spending so much time searching for unique horn why not show it off in a big way.

Super nice. Big scales for a big blade. Really like the look of the barbers notch/Spanish point blade

Not everybody adores the chunky look, but it's still a great looking razor nonetheless.

Really nice job on the resto. The horn scales look great. I've never used a razor with scales that big but I think I'd be willing to try someday.

You would be surprised how little size matters. It's so much more driven by technique. I like the feel of something more substantial in my hand and it makes it easier for me anyway to stay light on the touch.  I get a better controlled feeling which equates to a better outcome. With super thin scales I always feel like I need to be a bit more heavy handed to get a good shave. That always backfires on me and the alum block quickly reminds me of that fact. Plus I always feel like I'm going to break them. I know it's mind over matter and if you don't mind it doesn't matter.
