Came across Jerry Starks Website while look for razors and it appears he produces very nice looking straights so I have to ask has anyone dealt with him and his custom razors, I am looking at this as a option:

I have a 7/8 round toe like that with the red/black micarta scales but had a new set put on.  I never took to the razor and for that I have it for sale.  It shaves close and almost always BBS, I just can't warm up to the razor however.  If it does not sell I will just put it away out of rotation.  I really wanted to like it but in the end just not jiving.

I have had a few razors like that, liked them when I got them and just vever clicked so I sold them off, I now have a few more that just don't get the love they need, they shave well enough and give me a pretty decent BBS but just don't feel right so I need to spend the next few months figuring out which one goes next to the auction block.

He makes nice looking razors, I do question the functionally of the tang, seems it would be difficult to hone and strop

I have one that has a deep thumb notch but not that deep so hoping it's not an issue.

Just the shape on the tang, thumb notches often make you change the grip when stropping-either nearer the pivot or near the heel.

This one seems to make the thumb slide towards the heel where the tang is thinnest.

Well I requested he follow the contour of a Chevalier style blade similar to my Wacker and have a worked spine so we will see what he designs/makes, hopefully will be a beauty.
