Well while peruzzing the internet I found a seller offering this up and I could not pass it up.  It comes with the coffin box as well.  Always wanted to give a Friodur a try and hope it does not disappoint.

Friodur No-Stain is a fine razor, I find they need just a tad more pressure and laps on the stone to get that killer edge but they hold their edge for quite awhile.

I have heard stainless can be a bit harder to get that edge but when you do it is a treasure for sure.

I agree to them needing a bit of tinkering to get the edge right but glorious shaves once it is obtained.

Very nice razor.

Really not alot just a few more minutes on each stone, I normally don't use a 1K unless it's a factory edge or has dings or chips, I start with a 4K then go to the 8 and then a mid grit JNAT and one of a few different JNAT finishers and strop and should be good to go, after that you should get several months on the edge.

Well it finally arrived after either being temporarily lost by the USPS or being brought to NC by way of NY on horse and carriage!

Just honed a similar blade here today. They do well with diamond spray if you have any. Fine razors...

I use CroMox which is essentially the same.  Good advice though.  How you like that razor my friend?
