I am Whitewolfl from France.

I have been reading this forum for a while now and love the spirit of it.

I am quite new to DE and straight razor shaving although I have used a brush and "wet shaved" with a cartridge razor since my teens.

Besides using my shaving brush (a beautiful poisson offered by my dad), I used to hate shaving with a cartridge razor so much that I have worn a beard or a 3 days growth half of my life.

More recently with the trend of beard, I have grown quite a peculiar facial hair design, this brought me to the use of a straight razor and from there I went on to DE razor.

Since this discovery, I look forward to my shaves, (using DE for the big part of the shave and straight for the contours of the beard).
I have in the last few months bought more brushes, razors, shaving cream/soaps, aftershaves, blades, lotions, oils ... than would be needed for a lifetime.
But I really enjoy the hobby.

Had I known I would have such a disorder, I would have invested since the beginning in the ATT razor I adore and a EJ89 head with a nice long and hefty Stainless handle from shaving.ie, avoiding the other purchases that were made before I discovered ATT.  Investing $200 in that product at the beginning sounded pretty unreasonable.  (To all the beginners reading my words, and who fear to follow my steps, save time and money, buy ATT directly).

My personal favorites brushes, are Simpson Chubby2 in super, in manchurian, and Thater 2 band.

Favorite shaving cream is institut Karité followed by DR Harris Arlington and Simpson Vanilla and Rose.

My straight Razor is a Thiers Issard.

Voila. After reading your posts, and enjoying reading them so much, I finally write my first.

It is a pleasure being among you, and I look forward to exchange with you.
