Apparently there is such a thing as "Viking Blade" brand (by Juilian Vue) of DE-razors and blades... considering that I hail from the land of the Vikings, this needs to be looked into  - even if it seems to be just another Weishi clone Smile

Anyone familiar with the brand, or even heard about it?

If it's the same one they have at tryablade.com, it's made by Personna in Israel.  I have not used one, so I can't offer any input.

I think you're thinking about "Viking Sword", which I'm planning to try out based on the name alone. "Viking Blade" is a DE razor, seemingly only sold in the US (Amazon and other such places).

I thought the same, but this is the DE razors section...

I just looked it up and I'm trying to figure out who makes it.  My first thought was Pearl or Cadet but I can't find the specific model.  It comes with that clamshell case with the mirror inside, which seems to be a hallmark of Chinese-made razors.  The other interesting thing is that listed with the Viking Blade are other re-branded razors that looks exactly like it, such as this one or this one.

The Viking's Sword blade is, as mentioned above, is made in Israel by Personna. They are a very good blade.

You're right.  My bad. I should have known since it was in the DE section, but in my defense, it was really early when I replied.
