Today was the third shave. This razor continues to impress me, I'm very satisfied.

Guess I'll have to grab my wife's Lady Eversharp and give it a try!

I like it.
If a woman's 7 wood is good enough for Fred Couples, it is good enough for me.

Nick, do you like the handle? It seems quite long.

Charlie, I like it. It does not seem to bother me, I would say that it helps me to hold and control the razor. Also, in my opinion, the yellow color is beautiful.

I got one of these last time Nick offered them and I finally got around to trying it.  I'm 4 shaves in and it's my first shot with an injector but I'm hooked.  I also tacked down an NOS Schick adjustable, but it might be a week or 2 until it arrives.  I backed the Supplyprovision injector a year ago and I'm still waiting on a batch 2 version to try out as well.

So far I only used the NOS blade, but next up is the Chick blade from Amazon, then I'm going to try a Personna hair shaper blade that I ordered on eBay, then the blades that come with the Supply Provision SE.  I might try to trim a Feather Pro AC and see how it goes.

I'm a sucker for experimentation.

I am very glad that you are enjoying the razor, Aaron!

It's a fantastic razor in my opinion, it shaves sooo nice. I have many razors but this one is my second favorite.

Lately I use it almost exclusively. What an amazing shaver it is! Every time I use it I get smooth and close shaves. I am very satisfied. I have tried too many razors the last years and this one is just fantastic. It's in my basic rotation. I think injectors are the answer for many people that look for a nice, quick, smooth, effortless shave.

Nick, have you used any blades other than the NOS that came with it?

I used it with the NOS blade that came with it for 10 straight shaves and it was great, this morning I switched up to a Personna and found that it wasn't quite as smooth.  I'm going to abandon the Personna and try a Chinese Schick next to see if it feels smoother for me.

Aaron, I've tried the NOS, the Ted Pella and the Chick. The first and the latter shave better than the Ted Pella. These NOS especially are amazing blades.

I just had my first injector shave ever with this razor I got from Nick. I am very impressed with the shave I got. I have absolutely no experience with SE razors, so this was especially pleasant that I got a very, very smooth, comfortable and effortless shave on my first try. I am now wondering where I can get more blades and reading this thread it seems that NOS are the best choice for it. So, please say more about the blade choices and quality. I am very interested now. I've been DE shaving for over 5 years now and have settled into my Rockwell 6S with pretty much no desire to even try other DEs. Rockwell is that good. But this injector looked so much like a cartridge with a single edge and ergonomics looke dgreat, so I tried one of Nick's NOS packages. It arrived quickly and was very pretty with all the lady's designs on it and Greek alphabet (I am a Russian speaker, so Greek alphabet is dear to my heart). The razor does feel cheap and light, but works perfectly. It is very light, especially after my Rockwell, but again, that does not detract from its function. It just works and feels natural and the long handle actually felt good to me since the light weight did not torque it out of my hand at all, I could hold it far from the blade and maneuver it better that way.

All in all, great razor, thank you Nick! I now have to find those blades and figure out what to do with all my DE supplies Smile

A few days ago, I visited the shop that found all these razors. I have also found there some other vintage items in the past, like shaving creams, blades etc. Most of them are still there. It seems like nobody knows that this shop has a treasure of old shaving stuff. I asked him if he could find some more of these or other razors for me, who knows, maybe he also has a stash of other razors as well. He told me he wasn't sure and that he'd have to ask his wife. Hopefully, the next time I'll visit them, I'll hear some good news. This time I bought just a vintage shaving cream for a friend.
