I've searched and I don't find much mention of this soap.
It contains alum and can supposedly seal small nicks during the shave because of that.

Anyone like it, use it, have any further info on it?

Thank you!

For what I've read, it is supposed to be a nice soap, with a clean nice scent, that works well. But a few people find it a little hard to lather.

Well, I have a puck of it coming my way, so I'll report soon. Cool

I found it very easy to lather, with many different types of brush; nice citrus scent; by itself, it wasn't as slick as I like but it protected just fine and I got a nice shave.

For the most part, it has been a dust collector for me. Huh Like Joe said, it has a pleasant scent and seems to offer plenty of protection with perhaps a bit less than ideal glide.

Some soaps just don't get attention in the forums, perhaps? Huh
I am very curious about this soap. Two good friends of mine swear by it.

It doesn't really give great lather, but neither does MWF, and that is one of my favorite.

Does it have a lot of glide, probably not. Does it have enough, absolutely. The scent is nice and clean and it rinses off the way soap should. I use it weekly.

JMHO

I can't speak to the alum. I don't remember having a nick, but then I generally don't anyway. I almost always finish with a little swipe of the block.

Kinda thought that might get someones attention.Biggrin

My choice of words may not have been the best, but I have a number of soaps that lather up quick and thick... MWF just takes a little longer. YMMV

I've tried the OSMA soap today. I really like it! I simply don't understand why this soap doesn't have more attention in the forums.

The lather is easy to make, and it is very stable. It has excellent protection and glide, and my skin did like this soap, despite the alum (my skin doesn't react very well with alum blocks). The shea butter leaved my skin very moisturised.
Not much scent on it - maybe because mine is a refill, perhaps? To me, it smells like... soap!

Overall, I truly recommend this soap - even the price is good!

That's good to know. A refill puck will have to make its way into my next order.

I tried this stuff when I first started wetshaving. The lather was okay, but to be honest I didn't really know what I was doing back then. Take my opinion with a grain of salt, I should buy another puck so I can give it a fair shake now that I've lathered many types of soaps before I give it a final judgement. But, if it does turn out to be a good soap I can say that it isn't dead simple to lather well.
