I need some help.  I picked up this handle several months ago with the intention of restoring it.  It looks like a Simpsons handle based on the sticker, but I cannot identify the model.  Moreover, I have no idea how to match it to a knot.  I'd love to know what model this brush was (is) and the size knot that would fit.

It looks like a Special to me. Most knots are sold in metric measurements and I'm no good at converting so it's hard to recommend a knot size.

Use Google for the conversion. 1 inch eguals 25.4 mm. Your opening is 11/16 of an inch which eguals  17.46mm opening. All the best your brush will be  looker when your finished.

Looks to be a lathe turned one too, bummer about the bore cracks.
