Is anyone able to comment on how aggressive the AS-D2 is compared to a Merkur 38C? The Merkur is my go-to razor and I would want something at least as efficient. Thanks!

Jason I would say it's less efficient than your 38C

It is less efficient, but still a wonderful razor. I found that once you get used to it, you can find the angle that makes it work quite well. This is a great deal.

It is a smooth razor, especially when you use a Feather blade. That said, it will take more passes than the Merkur.

Makes for a great daily shaver. Once the angle is mastered this offers a very smooth and comfortable shave. Excellent audible feedback and the best fit and finish.
Great price for this little beauty! GLWTS
