Which of the Crabtree & Evelyns Sandlewood scents is the best? I know of the old Mysore Sandlewood, of which I have the soap, the one named Indian Sandlewood and this newest one but please, if there are others bring them into the conversation.

There was one by the name simply Sandalwood prior to the Indian Sandalwood release. Those were for sale at the time Nomad and Sienna were around too.

They are all very nice, IMO.

The nicest scent is the Mysore. Then probably the current Indian. But I do like them all.

One more thing, the scent of the simple Sandalwood might have changed once or twice during its production, so there may be some variation within that name, as well.

Must admit the only one I have is the discontinued Sweet Almond Oil soap.  I enjoy its scent very much.  Closest scent to it that I have discovered is TOBS Sandalwood, although the SAO is a bit more subtle.

I have two Tubs of the Sweet Almond Oil SC, absolutely a nice scent and lather, I just picked up a couple tubes of Sienna, it will make a nice scent for Fall, I'm sure the lather will be just as nice.

I have the C&E Indian Sandalwood and really enjoy it.  Great lather and scent - though not a true wood based Sandalwood scent.

The C&E Sweet Almond Oil cream is a highly sought after pricey item. I have three old vintage C&E soaps and they're all top notch. Nomad, Sienna and Mysore Sandlewood. The cream I'm asking about just says "Sandalwood ".

I only had the "Sandalwood" cream that was made during the Sienna/Nomad years. Their Sandalwood soap of this vintage smelled pretty much identical to the cream of the same era. And, they were also very close to Trumper Sandalwood cream (but not soap).

I have seen other "further-vintage" Sandalwood and Mysore (possibly even "Extracts of Mysore Sandalwood"?) in the cream versions. But I've not smelled these in the cream version... I mention this because Sweet Almond Oil smells MUCH different in the soap vs cream.

(FWIW, I do not agree that Sweet Almond Oil soap smells like TOBS Sandalwood soap. Was mentioned above. YMMV! But do agree SAO soap is a superb subtle scent Smile lightly soapy, lightly flowery, lightly honey'd)

I lived in Taiwan for a couple of years. People actually do wear sandals made of sandalwood. Lots of things made of sandalwood.  Very few shaving products marketed as sandalwood smell anyway similar. Good, great even, but not the same.
