The best way to describe the iKon S3S is HEAVY. The S3S weighs 130 grams and is built from a solid piece of 316 marine stainless steel. It is a 3 piece razor with a duel head that resembles in some ways to a Pils. It shaves similar to the OSS but because of its massive weight and different head design much better. The bulldog handle has a very good grip even when the razor is wet. The only thing that might turn someone off from buying one is the price which is $225. But if you want an incredible razor that shaves great this is the one.

I have an S3S with the Bamboo handle. It is one incredible razor. Holding it actually "feels" like $225 worth of equipment, my Feather AS never really feels like it's worth $175 (although it is the razor I reach for when my face is irritated). I wholeheartedly agree, if the price doesn't turn you immediately off, this is a razor to put on your list.

About a month ago, Greg had a shot of a few custom handles and what looked like some green anodized pieces. There was one handle that was absolutely gorgeous, it was curvy and smooth and had sections that looked like what I can only describe as sections of stainless "bubbles" milled into the handle. Ugh, I was I has screen shot that thing.

I like my S3S. I have the bulldog handle, but I really like the bamboo.
The S3S feels lighter and less aggressive than my Tradere.
According to my scale, the S3S is actually a few grams heavier than the Tradere. That said, I agree that the S3S feels lighter and is less aggressive.
