Does anyone know anything about these blades. The only thing i could find was A&P was a coffee and tea company.i wonder if they were rebranded personnas?

Anyways, these blades gave me the best shave i have had. As far as 1st shave with a blade goes, these are hands down the best shave ever for me. I think they might rival feathers for sharpness and the smoothest blade i have tried. My shaves are consistent now so i know it was the blade.

P.S. It is nothing like the Iraeli platinum c[Image: jaDucOg.jpg]hromes, its way sharper and just as smooth or smoother.

A&P still is a coffee and tea company supplying the restaurant industry. Blades used to be  one of many promotional items to boost sales in many products. You just lucked onto blades made when there was enough competition to make very nice blades.

Is that the same A&P as the old grocery stores?  That would make sense as a private labeled house brand.

The full corporate name of what was once the largest grocery store chain in the United States is The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (which is a mouthful, so it was shortened for advertising purposes to A&P).

Yep, I'm thinking east coast grocery stores as well. The font looks like their logo from the early-mid 70's.

I just went and checked, that dispenser has a decidedly old Personna look to it.

That was my first 'real' paying job! I used to work there for 10 years when I was a teenager into my mid-twenties and it helped me pay my way through university. Biggrin
