Last group for a while, or until I decide I would rather have another brush than one of my other razors.

Prices include shipping to the US and APO addresses.  Outside the US, buyer will need to cover the difference in price between domestic shipping and shipping to their location.  I can send additional pictures as needed.  Any questions, just ask.  As before, all are marked 25-40% off of what I paid.

First is vintage open comb of apparent German manufacture (I purchased it in Germany, but I wish I knew more).  The design is nice, very similar to an Old Type in performance, albeit heavier.  There is some wear to the plating on the handle, but the head is in great shape.  $13 and it's yours.  Traded.

Second is a Lutz slant in excellent condition.  I don't think it was used when I purchased it, and I have about two dozen shaves on it.  There are a few tiny imperfections from manufacture or sitting in the box for X number years, but in great shape.  It is still in the tissue in the original box with original blades.  Very smooth shaver, and a great example of one of the iconic slant designs.  I probably will regret it, but tough choices must be made.  $65.

I'm interested in the Lutz. Do you know if the head is zamak or brass? Thanks

I am afraid I just don't know. I suspect that the handle is, but not the head, based upon the weight, feel, and machine marks. But I can't be sure. The plating is in excellent condition and prevents me from being able to see for sure.

The head is Zamak. These were produced circa 1940s BECAUSE brass was needed for other toiletries like 7.92 and 88MM shell casings.
They are a neat razor. One side is set up to be more aggressive. There is a youtube video somewhere that covers all this.

Very cool. I will be looking for that tonight. I don't know the exact era of manufacture. It doesn't have the indications of the 1934-1945 era like other German razors I have seen, but I cannot exclude that either.
