Gents, whats your favorite Truefitt and Hill and why?
Mine are : 1805 and Lavander. 1805 its the scent "of the empire".I really like the scent of that cream, actually one of the top ones out there without any doubts.
Lavander smells more complex than other lavander shaving creams like the Castle Forbes or Art of Shaving. Its not a plain scent but kind of complex with some herbal and fresh notes. Its skin care also its better than the 1805.
What are yours?

Teiste, I voted for Lavender. I know what you mean about the complexity of the fragrance. That's what makes T&H Lavender similar, at least a little bit similar, to the old Coates cream and the current TOBS Lavender shaving soap. I really like whatever they've done with the Lavender fragrance to make it so unique.

I ordered the sample pack a while ago and liked the Trafalgar scent so much I eventually ordered a tube. The lavender for me is 'earthy' and changed my perception of lavender as a scent, I really like it. All are quite good performers if I remember correctly and also feel that the Ultimate Comfort is a really good performer that is often overlooked. Not sure if things have changed over the last couple of years though with the formulations.

How would compare the Rose to DRH Rose or TOBS Rose creams?

T&H Rose and Ultimate Comfort is my favs.
1805, Grafton and Trafalgar all smell nice, but are all a bit too cologne scented for a shaving cream IMHO.
I already have the 3 Penhaligons creams and they have a very nice scent but too strong since it lingers for hours after the shave, which is not good since I like to end my shave with one of my 300+ fragrances in my collection and don't want to be forced to use a Penhaligon frag after a Penhaligon shave
Same with T&H cologne type scented creams - I'm leaning towards the more simple traditional scented shaving creams, with lime/lemon/rose/almond/sandalwood and more basic scents, that won't stay present for hours after my shave, but just during the shave
