Rocnel is already here. Well at least ways to contact them and such. Already have their first SE. Interested in this as alternative to Mongoose or Cobra.

I'm anxious for the Asylum Rx Razor by Phil. I would like another narrow head SE.

Another Feather Artist Club razor. Soon we will have several to choose from. The Cobra started it all and then the Mongoose gave a push to the whole idea. This could be the golden era of shaving we now live in.

" rocnelNEW ! Rocnel SE50 (Feather Artist Club) 316 Stainless Steel-Slide System- First in the world ! "

He goes on to say release date possibly in September and the prices "cheap"

This will probably be sold through extrashaving.com (Turkey)

Incredible

I am also with you gents. I would hope for a slim head design. So far not the Cobra was able to achieve this

Read on another forum that this will retail at $85 and be released in July.

Just going by looks, design, and innovation, this seems to be the best of all the Feather AC type razors.

If it can shave as well as it looks (and at that price!!!), it should knock the socks off Mongoose, Cobra, ATT, and upcoming Bullgoose and iKon!

Hoping this will be the AC SE to kill all other AC SE's! (My only issue is the curved head, as opposed to angled.)

Very impressive company, smart, and seems to have their act together.

With all due respect, I have a few questions Len.

Act together? They selling the razor that takes half a DE blade yet?
Last I saw you have to stand in line and wait your turn. It has a great price too- if you can buy one directly from them.

All I see is a prototype here. A really nice one, but still.

That price and timeline is meaningless without some more context.

ATT, Ikon, and Bullgoose are actually making SE razors this year that will be available to buy and shave with.

Not just for a few friends and forum members or YouTubers to have. Kind of hard to get excited here this early on.

Prototypes don't really blow my skirt up, but they are interesting.

Phil said he's shooting for this summer with 300 units in the first batch. Stan has pre-order sales rolling. Greg had pictures and possible pricing up too.

Now, they're all going to be available this year with a clear and easy way to buy we hope. Probably all shipping to US buyers from the US.

Will Rocnel have open sales with expedited shipping? ATT, Ikon, and Bullgoose will.

Last thing I bought direct from Turkey shipped to the US took 26 days to arrive to me.

Let's be realistic and compare real world bullet points here. "Knocking socks off" for how many customers in July? A great razor that is at a great price, but isn't for sale is not something I'll hold off buying real ones for.

I'll wait for a Wolfman, a Varlet, and other things. I know they are being made and people routinely get them. When I start seeing people post SOTD pics with these is when I'll take it seriously.

They are selling through extra shaving, not direct from Turkey, and have already done so with their previous offering.

Don't know if they'll sell out of them or not, but you have had to wait for Mongoose and Cobra, and are still waiting for ATT, Bullgoose, and iKon (the last two still as prototypes).

There's no reason to believe they won't deliver as they have done... And they are the most innovative with the design... And absolutely destroy on price!

I purchased mine direct Len.

What is the advantage of the sliding head design?

I do not believe they are offering this new, unreleased razor as a direct sale, but if you bought one from them already, you are the only one I know of. I do believe this current prototype will be available through extra shaving and possibly other vendors, but not direct.

Sliding head advantage... If it works, you'll never have to worry about thread wear, and changing a blade will be several orders of magnitude quicker. Slide the head... Instant... Change the blade... Slide, done.

I was referring to the purchase of the already released SE.

The head design is a "new idea" so I guess you could refer to it as innovation. Without seeing it up close its hard to make any judgements as to its integrity and function.
