I just noticed that Bullgoose has Tabac shave sticks, which were banned from importation to the US a couple of years ago.  Anyone know what the story is regarding why the ban was lifted?

Maybe they are just NOS?

I did not know they were "banned" and other places do carry Tabac shave sticks.

Citation needed for a ban? If they were 'banned' for a minor thing, it's quite likely the manufacturer have taken steps to remedy the situation; the US is a pretty big marked and no one would give it up without a fight.

It was a U.S. Labeling requirement in January of 2014 IIRC, a Stateside shaver could still purchase them from the Euro-Vendors though.

Yes, it was a labeling issue.   Just wondering if it has been resolved or not.

Amazon warehouses have the stick in stock so I would assume so.
