10:15 AM on the left side of the nation and it's 90 by my compass/thermometer/ wind chill factor scale. No wind, but I walked home seeing the blurry figure of a Bedouin in Lawrence Of Arabia growing bigger and in focus. My shopping list had some changes; a bag of limes, apple juice instead of milk, mint tea.
I'm thinking of pressing my seersucker suit. Nobody wears seersucker south of San Francisco. I wash in the bathroom, look over my kit. I need to
buy for the season.
What will everyone be reaching for? Predictions are for a hot summer nationwide.

The marine layer just cleared here. Headed to the hot hot desert this weekend. I should be well seasoned by Monday.

Come summer, I'll be reaching for a surfboard and a hat. Or some lemonade...and a hat.

It's too warm to eat dinner in southern Norway today... 34°C (93°F). Ice tea and menthol aftershave is the order of the day.

I have heard that the summer for Vancouver is supposedly going to be on the cooler side.  Shy

Glad some people enjoy the good weather, here it seems like they jumped from May to October and left summer out, everything is flooded and you have to wear a warm raincoat  Confused

We had one slightly sticky day in NYC recently, but for the most part -- including today -- the spring weather has been a pleasure lately.

I'm in Miami, so heat and humidity are the order of the day in the summer.

Mint tea sounds nice, I myself will be doing a lot of swimming this summer . A lot of cruising around at sunset in the Saab as well.

You never know here in Cleveland  A few weeks ago we had snow.  So we're perpetually confused when it comes to food or clothing.

Cool, breezy and just a little drippy on my side of the island. Good day to reach for some Bay Rum, crack open a Patrick O'Brian book, and watch the squalls blow in.

Good idea. I haven't played golf in 20 years. It would be fun to try that again.

Citrus and bay rum-themed shaves.
Hopefully some time to sit outside in shorts and sandals.
And drinking lots of Campari spritz's, and experimenting with white wine cocktails and shrub cocktails.
