30 mm is okay size for me, but has to be a badger hair on the stiffer side, like Simpson Manchurian, or the bloom will be out of control for me.

So wise of you to order it in Manchurian  Thumbup  2vikoro Thumbup

So, 'El Monstruo' , my Romera Manchurian 30/50 Fan, has finally arrived. It is a very lush brush... dense, fine backbone, and super soft tips, which seem to be developing hooked/gel tips. As I was drying the brush, post shave, I noticed the same feeling that I get when towel drying the Brad Sears 'Archduke' 2-Band Manchurian.. that sticky/velcro feeling, and upon closer inspection it does appear that the tips are beginning to curl...sorry for the crappy pics...

I own a couple in this same spec.

Incredible knot and as I have said best labeled Manchurian in the marked by a long shot in my opinion.

I cannot wait to hear your impressions!

I have to agree there. I just got to use, for the first time, the 26/50 I got on the board here from Rui. The backbone is there, alright. The tips are softer than the Simpson Manchurians in my view. I'll have to wait and see about the hooked tips, but the face feel is marvelously soft. The handle on Str8 Shaver's new brush is absolutely gorgeous, it looks like the bowl of a fine briar smoking pipe.
