Well, I now know what all the fuss is about regarding Paladin brushes. What a treat! The knot is dense yet soft, without any hint of scritch, and it is the very definition of a lather hog. One use and it is already showing it's bloom. This is my first fan knot and I like it. It's difficult to describe how it feels. Perhaps a couple more uses and I'll find the words to describe it. Suffice to say I think the fan may add to the feel of the combination of density, backbone and softness. There is definitely another Paladin in my future.
Ken, wonderful brush!

I'm starting to come around to this handle design. Keyhole, I know in some country's that term takes on a whole different meaning. One thing for sure that's a beautiful looking knot. Congratulations!

After one use I can tell that this brush will be one of my favorites. The Sherlock handle shape is really ergonomic for my hands. It's a bit thinner than a PK47 and feels a bit shorter than a chief. This knot is excellent right out of the box. I appreciate being able to see the knot specs for the individual brush before purchase. As a consequence I'm honing in on my ideal knot one brush at a time.

I can relate to that Royce. When Paladin first released the Sherlock I wasn't particularly interested in it. Now, after seeing various pictures taken by members, I like the shape. I'll be looking for one in ivory, butterscotch or briar in future Paladin releases.

Jorge, as expected the Falstaff is a great performer. Medium density, backbone and scrub. Soft tips with no scritch. Pictures of the first lather and the damp, bloomed knot.

Ricardo, the polish on a Paladin brush really is amazing. It makes the color(s) of the handle look even better.
