Hi folks, well I got a tub of Truefitt & Hill 1805 cream the other day, and I love that scent. I was pretty pleased with the performance of the cream as well, but that super clean scent really got me. Can you all recommend any other quality soaps or creams that have a scent in that category. I kind of like to play around with different genres. Lately I've been on a "Barbershop" scent kick. T&H 1805 really stuck with me, but I don't consider it a Barbeshop scent at all. I'm not good at dissecting scent profiles, but the best I can do is call it a "Clean" scent, and 1805 really comes across as a super clean scent to my nose. Brands I've liked so far, Catie's Bubbles, Sterling, PAA, TOBS, and Soap Commander, but any brand will do. Also, if it happens to also have a matching aftershave that's a big plus. Thanks for your input. JG

Noses and scent perception differs from person to person, and there is no right or wrong.
With that said, Haslinger Scharfmilch reminds me more of MWF and smells soapy clean to me and not even remotely close to 1805.
1805 has that Yuzu/White flower and citrus note in it mixed with acquatic ocean scent.

No. Not even remotely close.
1805 is one of my favorite scents. I actually don't like the scent of Schafmilch at ALL. I got rid of my puck because I didn't like the scent.

I didn't mean the were the same, but the same type of scent. To me Haslinger has a modern cologne type scent. Of course there are a lot of modern colognes of different scents. It smells like something you would smell walking by the store of a teens store at the mall. 1805 to me has the same type of scent.
To me these two scents are difficult to describe as I don't find the scents strictly floral, aquatic, woodsy etc. Its kind of its own scent.

It does smell really good.
If you want to know what it smells like, go to your local Wallgreens and get a sample spray of a cologne called Blue Seduction by Antonio Banderas. Hard as it may be to believe, this cheap cologne smells almost EXACTLY like 1805. If you like the scent of Blue Seduction, you will love 1805.
