Pass It Forward (PIF) P&B Soap

Hello, I am fairly new to the Nook, so if this is not allowed please delete as necessary.

I would like to offer a new pot of P&B Obsidian LE for members of the Nook to try and provide opinion on. I am happy to post it to the first member and for that member to then post it to the next and so on

The soap in question:


Ingredients:
Potassium Stearate
Potassium Tallowate (bovine)
Cocos Lactate
Potassium Castorate
Glycerin
Potassium Safflowerate
Lanolin
Potassium Shea Butterate
Aqua
Allantoin
Tocopherol Acetate
Tusah silk
Parfum
Evernia prunastri (Oakmoss extract)


This soap was created by Kerry over at P&B after considering my requests for a specific fragrance.

I wanted something that would suit (not match) Encre Noire well. Instead of a large amount of smoke or amber I prefer freshly milled black/green peppercorns. The aim was to create a dark (oakmoss, green vetiver, cedar) and warming (olibannum, black pepper) fragrance that is strong enough to appreciate throughout the shave. A peppery spiced earthy forest.

Samples I provided Kerry with:
B&M Beaudelaire
Midnight & Two The Cabin
Mike's orange and black pepper
TR Olibanum
CRSW Sandalwood

What can I say the first fragrance sample that Kerry sent was the one I chose. It was that easy, the guy is fantastic at creating fragrance bouquets.

The other half, it builds lather very quickly, loading a chewing gum style pre lather off the puck in a matter of seconds. Resulting lather when built is yoghurt like with no air bubbles. Great stuff post shave too.

I'm really upset I missed Obsidian. Gonna pass on the pass (heh) but good on you for doing this!

Very nice gesture Nishy! I'd love to have a try with P&B! All the wonderful feedback has made me very curious.  I know postage isn't exactly cheap so I understand completely if it's not feasible.

Much appreciated! It is the first artisan soap in a while that has peaked my interest and seems to have some nice scents that sound interesting.
