Happy Solstice

I see, with some sadness Hallmark Greeting cards has again failed to offer product for today. But that's o.k. in multi cultural California. I need a holiday from holidays. June started on the 3rd with National Donut Day. I saw a guy dressed as Homer Simpson at Dunkin Donuts walking out with 4 dozen. Shuvuot came, Bastille day, Rammadan and some saint getting martyred for all 30. The local Buddhist Shingon temple had a fund
raiser and I had to wear my monk robes and explain Wicca to the new priest from Japan while eating Tempura.
So, I give dispensation to just sit this one out, maybe have a few beers. It's HOT and I'm not getting into a fight with the local breakaway southern reformed council of druidess' over their sexist lesbian only policy. To my druid brothers in the U.K. white is so yesterday. The actual builders of pre Celtic Britain pretty much went naked.

I neglected Juneteenth back on the 15th. We still need to understand why these observances take place besides retail sales promotions, BBQs and
