Blind Blade Test, Shave of the Day (SOTD) Saturday August 4, 2012
![[Image: BBT-Blade6-Day2.jpg]](http://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-3pdKdoYFVeY/UB2AlgScGgI/AAAAAAAADxY/uq_9qB1_lBc/s929/BBT-Blade6-Day2.jpg)
Prep: Brush soaking in hot water, face scrub with TSD Sandalwood soap, Tepid Water Shower
Razor: 1965 Gillette Slim Adjustable set to 9
Blade: Blind Blade Test Blade #6, Shave #2
Brush: VIe-Long LE Beehive Natural Horse Hair
Soap: Tabac
AS: Canoe
Post: Cold Water Rinse, Alum Rub, Cold Water Rinse, Double Splash Of Aftershave.
This is day fifteen of the blind blade test, which is the second shave with blade number six.
Per the guidelines of the test I will not be posting my results of the blade, as we do not want other participants to be influenced by our own shaving experience. At the end of the test I will be posting my complete daily journal.
All variables remain the same accept for the aftershave, which today is Canoe.
On a side note, I really need new glasses as I just noticed how dusty the lid of the Tabac jar looks and how I had grabbed the Canoe EDT instead of the AS

Pre: Hot Shower & MRGLO
Brush: SOC 2-band
Soap: L'Occitane Cade
Razor: Fatboy @ 3
Blade: Polsilver
Post: Alum & Witch Hazel
A/S: Krampert's Finest
I don't know how, but I had that magic water to soap mixture spot on from my initial loading of the brush. No extra water needed and I had copious amounts of perfect lather. I think soaking the SOC 2-band improves it's ability since it is just so dense. Fantastic and much needed shave!
