Crabtree & Evelyn Moroccan Myrrh shaving cream is absolutely wonderful -- the fragrance is amazing, and the performance is quite good too. I love my shaving products scented with sandalwood, lavender & etc, but the oddball fragrances really get my attention! The Castle Forbes Cedarwood & Sandalwood is another that has such a powerful, memorable aroma. The last one in this category is the I Coloniali mango shaving soap -- the one that comes in the terra cotta jar -- it is another stunning fragrance that I find absolutely unique and unforgettable.

I've noticed that many posters here and elsewhere seem "put off" by the stronger aromas in some shaving products (Tabac, Arko, Pinaud's Lilac Vegetal) while I find the nearly un-scented products lacking something that looms very large for me; the fragrance of shaving. I truly feel sorry for anyone who, either due to allergies or other sensitivities, cannot use scented products. I am very lucky in that I've only ever had a skin reaction with one product; Maca Root shaving cream. This product caused a slight rash and itching on my neck, post shave, but only because I'd been using it every shave for several weeks -- I can still use it occasionally without any ill effects, and I'm very glad because I enjoy the smell and performance.

How is the performance? I had a tube of C&E sandalwood and whilst it produced a great lather with great scent, for me the cushioning and glide were just not there. Pity as the scent was amazing.

I have a tube of the Morrocan Myrrh under its previous labeling of Nomad and I'd rate the performance as very good, not quite excellent, but very good. The fragrance however IS excellent.

My wife gave me the Sandalwood as a Christmas gift - I wasn't sure what to expect from it but it surprised me.  Great scent, lather, and performance.

Definitely something I would get again.

Ravi we are talking creams, not soaps, correct?  I had heard their new soaps were "meh" on performance.

Oops, I thought we were talking about in general.  I stand by my assessment on the soaps, they work very nicely for me.

How can I know it's their latest release ?

Are you talking about the cream or the soap, or are both latest releases outstanding ?

I believe Ravi was talking about the new formulation of soaps, as I've seen several SOTD posts that included them. I purchased them at about the same time, and have found them to be quality soaps. However, I don't mean to derail the topic of C&E creams, which I haven't tried.
