Crabtree & Evelyn Moroccan Myrrh shaving cream is absolutely wonderful -- the fragrance is amazing, and the performance is quite good too. I love my shaving products scented with sandalwood, lavender & etc, but the oddball fragrances really get my attention! The Castle Forbes Cedarwood & Sandalwood is another that has such a powerful, memorable aroma. The last one in this category is the I Coloniali mango shaving soap -- the one that comes in the terra cotta jar -- it is another stunning fragrance that I find absolutely unique and unforgettable.
I've noticed that many posters here and elsewhere seem "put off" by the stronger aromas in some shaving products (Tabac, Arko, Pinaud's Lilac Vegetal) while I find the nearly un-scented products lacking something that looms very large for me; the fragrance of shaving. I truly feel sorry for anyone who, either due to allergies or other sensitivities, cannot use scented products. I am very lucky in that I've only ever had a skin reaction with one product; Maca Root shaving cream. This product caused a slight rash and itching on my neck, post shave, but only because I'd been using it every shave for several weeks -- I can still use it occasionally without any ill effects, and I'm very glad because I enjoy the smell and performance.
