Have any of my new wet shave brothers here had any experience with this Razo Rock Glyce bar as a pre-shave?  It makes sense actually.  I can imagine it's similar to a Neutrogena bar but more pure.  Neutrogena is about 75% glycerine, and this looks more like it's in the 90th percentile glycerine.  Glycerine clings to the skin and is very slick.  I'm going to give it a first use tomorrow morning.
I'll report back.

I'll make it short and sweet... It does not deep clean as well as Neutrogena (but then again, it doesn't claim to be a deep cleaning facial soap, nor did I buy it for that).  It's purpose is to give a good general wash (after I have already prepped with a deep wash), and then to use as a protective under layer for a more frictionless shave (i.e., pre-shave).  Well, it gave me a noticeable enhancement to my shave cream of choice that morning.  I used a Musgo Real Lavnder cream (which is already a really really slick cream), but the combination of those two, plus my Semogue 1250 Boar, and my Merkur 23c Long Handle + Astra superior platinum = a phenomenal shave !

I give the RR Mister Joe a very high recommendation:
