Well I've been trying everything DE or SE I can get my hands on. Thought I couldn't get a comfortable shave with the current SE blades available. Please note I stroped the new blade the best way I could think of. I used a Feather Pro and stroped five passes with my left hand flipped over did five more and repeated the same process with my right hand. It was the only way I could think of to strop evenly. I've never used a mongoose before this shave. So to the point. I got a very close and completely comfortable shave with the Mongoose. Actually a incredible shave ! I'm going to try the ATT SE with a stroped blade. I have a lot of ideas. This is not a review on a product. Just my opinion. I love shaving ! Ha ha [Image: zjgBBZL.jpg][Image: HiPcOWL.jpg]

Wow, very snappy looking color, goes well with the ATT Wave handle. Glad the stropping worked for you. If stropping isn't enough to tame the blade, I then go to a wine cork. Interested in hearing your opinion of the SE1 - I am tempted, but having such good results from my Mongoose makes me hesitate...

Thanks for posting! -David

Thanks. They are a limited run. 25 red and 25 blue. I thought what the hell and bought the red. It might be something special ! I'm very impressed.

I love the new ATT SE1. I put it way above the Alumigoose 2 and the SS Mongoose as far as comfort and efficiency. Just my opinion and usage though!

Wow, Chris! That is very colourful! All you need now is a white soap and you'll be ready for the 4th of July! Biggrin

Thought I'd give the Red Mongoose a run this morning. I couldn't feel the blade at all, Kai Mild, and really wasn't getting much beard reduction. I ended up finishing with the ATT SE-1 and a Feather Pro. I'll give the Goose/Pro combo a go tomorrow. Perhaps this razor needs the Pro or Super to get going.

The blade gap is almost nonexistent upon visual inspection. This is the first time I've used any razor that didn't feel like it was cutting at all. Fortunately the SE-1 cleaned everything up and I got a great shave nonetheless.
