New SimFix Grosvenor #404

Got my new SimFix Grosvenor #404 2-band Silvertip. The hand on this this is big. Its the overall biggest handlebrush i have and it is very easy to hold. Fits in my hand almost perfectly. Theres not really and funk to it. Its a 22mm knot with a 50mm loft. There is no scritch at all. Man this thing has some spring to it. It has lots of backbone, then some. It is not a super dense brush but to me its just about right. Maybe medium density,which for this brush and the way its springy is just about perfect. Good flow through also because of the density. This is a great brush and once it gets broken in, i think it will compete for top spot in rotation. We will see, but this brush is amazing. Never tried Simpsons Manchurian hair but their 2-band Sivertip in this brush is absolutly fantastic.

Great acquisition.  Simpson 2-band hair is superb and rare these days.
