I have sensitive skin and I use an ATT M2 without any issues. I think the extra blade exposure compared to other mild razors helps me with angle and pressure, resulting in an irritation free shave. I find that I get the most irritation on razors that are so mild I can't feel the blade.

Construction-wise, the ATT is terrific, but there's no comparison between it and the Rockwell when it comes to actually shaving. The ATT M1 plate didn't cut at all for me, and the R1 felt rough. Rockwell plates 1 and 2 are smooth, mild, and comparatively more efficient. Plate 3 is another step up in efficiency from those without losing the mild.

I've never owned or tried an ATT.
My Rockwell, however, is amazing! I've never, ever, had a less than exceptional shave with it.
Today, PAA Sangre de Drago, my M6 Simpson, with a thrice used PermaSharp. 3 pass, BBS. No problem going ATG in the crankiest areas.
This shave, stuck with plate 4. Occasionally flip it over for pass #3 if I feel sensitive, but rarely.
This is an amazing, flexible razor. I don't imagine the ATT, as good as it is, has the adjustability.
