Hey, all. I've been using DE razors and Injectors for about nine years now. I was doing a true wet shave for the first few years, but went back to Barbasol in a can when I was on the road. I recently purchased a tube of Proraso, which was a favorite of mine, and broke out my old shaving brushes. I must say, it's good to be back in the wet shave world! My current setup includes two Schick injectors, a Fatboy, a black tip Super Speed, and my personal favorite, a Gillette Red Tip. I'm a bit of an aftershave junkie, and there's quite a few creams I'd like to try, but I've never had any luck with soaps at home, my water seems to hate them!

The key for me with soaps in our hard water seems to be to load for what seems like a horribly long time - about 60 seconds. On top of that, I use very little water, giving my brush a good squeeze after soaking it.
Thanks for the tip! I may have to revisit soaps.
