Lucky Tiger

As the title says I am curious about Lucky Tiger AS, I am trying to round out an order with Phil at BGS and have never smelled it but always here about it so what say those that have tried and used Lucky Tiger what are your thoughts.

Like it (I take it you mean the Face Tonic). Light citrus scent that does not last long, soothing sensation. Alcohol-free/

So I am guessing you would use it after putting on an aftershave splash or prior to it ?

If you mean the bottle labelled After Shave and Face tonic, it has a mild fast disappearing citrus scent and leaves my face feeling really good. If you want to smell nice use an EdT or Cologne after it.

Just got a bottle, but haven't used it yet. Great summer time scent, though.

Yes Sir that's the one I am looking at so I figured I might want to try it as I have heard several say it's a great post shave treatment just did not know wheather you use it in conjunction with a splash or instead of, I honestly only use AS Splashes, I have a few colonges but very seldom use them.

Lucky Tiger IS an aftershave. It fades quickly, as do others such as DR Harris Pinks for men. It is an ephemeral part of traditional barbershop experience, not to last all day.

I shave at night (normal shave, splash, balm routine), and I like to use the Lucky Tiger the following morning after shower.

To me it is an aftershave that also has the qualities of a balm. I have not tried using a regular after shave like Aqua Velva Ice Blue after using the Lucky. Obviously it can be done but I hesitated to try it because an after shave with alcohol in it might effect the nice feel Lucky left me with. There is nothing like trying it to see how it works for you though.

Lucky Tiger is a splash.  It has a lot of good stuff for your face in it.  I add alcohol and a bit of menthol to mine.

You can use a balm after, but I wouldn't use another splash after.

Well I went ahead and added a bottle to my order with BGS, Phil got alot of my cash   but thats ok, I got the Lucky Tiger and a Vie-Long 13061M brush along with several other soaps/creams and splashes so now the wait begins.
